Once PSDR goes through all checks and automatic fixes, click on Print a test page. Once the connection check is done, click on Fix Printing PSDR will check if the Printer is on the Network and communication between the PC and the Printer. Select the correct Printer and click on Next. Once the PSDR detects the Printer, it will show up the IP address and Software Status. I am really at a loss as to what else to try. Take my printer off Air Print and reinstall it on the Canon settings (so I can select the greyscale option - which didn't work).
This made no difference and now I am getting blank pages when I print, even in colour. I changed the smaller black ink cartridge (it lights up red when correctly installed so I know it's right). I have 2 black cartridges in my printer and noticed the big one is still full so realised that I must have some settings wrong on my Mac for it not to print from both black cartridges and thought that explained my problem. A few weeks ago it stopped printing the black ink, so I checked the ink levels but they weren't showing as empty. I have a Canon iP7250 printer which, up until recently, printed fine via Air Print from my Mac. I am using a MacBook Air (OS X El Capitan version: 10.11.3).
